This winter I decided to dive into the world of Facebook ads and there's one person that I know and trust to guide me through that--Zach Spuckler. I signed up for his Facebook Ads bootcamp, added the VIP option, and had my ads up and running in that week. Then I joined his Ads HQ membership because my whole experience was so fantastic. Now, you have to do the work--it's not magic (sorry) and there is a time commitment to setting up Facebook ads. But if you've been interested in either starting or refining this source of advertising, this bootcamp will show you the way to do it, is recorded live so you're seeing the MOST up-to-date dashboard, and you're not left flopping about on your own but your efforts are fully supported. Have questions about my experience? I'm happy to answer, just reply and let me know what you're wondering.
P.S. If my missed it, I'm in a free summit this week, Astonish Yourself. My presentation is all about how to get started writing (or publishing) a book, but there's a lot of other presentations available to watch. The recordings are available all week, and I did mention there's no cost? You can sign up here. |

Hey Reader, This is my last quick note about The Acknowledgments until we have our next open enrollment in September, but a theme showed up this past week as people talked to me about joining the group--there was a real theme of "trust" that happened in those conversations. Not on my part, but from the authors talking to me about why they wanted to join. What I heard was feelings of being let down, feeling wary (and weary) thanks to past relationships and just wondering how to find a new...
Hey Reader, Today is the last day The Acknowledgments is open for joining until September! Some of you may have been contemplating and wondering about the group, but not sure if it's for you, or not, so I'm actually going to tell you all the reasons it may NOT be for you. Your values don't align with the space. Our values need to be shared up front because it's vital to our group culture: In The Acknowledgments we believe in inclusive, ethical, and sustainable author careers (sustainable is...
Hey Reader, Quick reminder that you can join us for one of our scheduled Discussion Meetings tonight (Thursday) at 5:30p Eastern. Just reply to this email and I'll send you the info! I had a conversation with an author last week that made me realize there's something we don't talk about often in publishing. We talk about how hard the writing and publishing is, of course. But we rarely talk about how hard it can be to feel as if you actually have a place with other authors in publishing. To...
